Abstract
|
|
|
Background and purpose: Gin Ga Chu Yo(ú±Ê«õÒé©) was written in the year 1359 by Hwal Su(Íèáø) who was a famous oriental doctor between Won(êª) and Myeong(Ù¥) dynasty. As specialized in sphygmology(ØæùÊ), this book was brought together most things about sphygmology(ØæùÊ) before Won(êª) dynasty by the author. Moreover he added the self-realized things to this book.
Methods: In this book, there are all 20 chapters; Chu Yo Hyeon Eon(õÒé©úÜåë), Jwa U Su Bae Jang Bu Bu Wi (ñ§éÓâ¢ÛÕíôݰݻء), O Jang(çéíô), Sa Si peong Maek(ÞÌãÁøÁØæ), Nae Gyeong Sam Bu Maek Beop(Ò®Ìè߲ݻØæÛö), Ho Heup Chim Bu Jeong O Jang Beop(û¼ýåöØÝ©ïÒçéíôÛö), In Ji Ha Gyeong Jung I Jeong O Jang Beop(ì×ò¦ù»Ìîñìì¤ïÒçéíôÛö), Sam Bu So Ju(߲ݻá¶ñ«), Ji Maek Su Beop(ò¥Øæâ¢Ûö), Maek Gwi Yu Sin(Øæãùêóãê), Maek Eum Yang Yu Seong(ØæëäåÕ×¾à÷ ), Gyeom Hyeon Maek Ryu(ÌÂ̸Øæ×¾), Je Maek Ui Gi Ryu(ð³ØæëñÐû×¾), Heom Je Sa Jeung Ryu(úÐð³ÞÝñø×¾) , Sa Jeol Maek Ryu(ÞÝï¾Øæ×¾), O Jang Dong Ji Maek(çéíúÔÑòØæ), Bu In Maek Beop(ÜþìÑØæÛö), So A Maek Beop(á³ä®ØæÛö), Maek Sang Tong Hoe(ØæßÚ÷Öüå), Maek Sang Ga(ØæßÚÊ°) and an epilogue in the end. This treatise is made up of principal, notes, study and conclusion, we tried to make a translation faithful to the original.
Results and Conclusion: Looking into this book, we can know that it is very detail in analyzing item by item, bright and simple in explaining and it is very useful in studying pulse evaluation(Øæòà). In his preface, Hwal Su(Íèáø) expresses his opinion with firm confidence that ¡¯Do(Ô³) of the World scattered in several scholarships and books of method and technique(Û°âú). Nothing of method and technique(Û°âú ) is more important than medicine. Nothing of medicine goes before pulse evaluation(Øæòà).¡¯ With such good reasons, as a student of sphygmology(ØæùÊ), I think this book is very valuable in studying pulse evaluation. So I add Hangul suffixes(÷Î) to a part of this book and translate it into Korean.
